FYI Was unable to get a Wi-Fi signal in the rear portion of my house even with a moderate signal in the front of my house. Installed a Hawking HWREN 1 repeater and am now able to use my IPAD anywhere in the house

Meeting

A meeting has been set up for January 25 at 6:30 at the club House. Hope to have at least 2 representatives from each circle there. Discussion relative to what is happening in the Wi-Fi

It is apparent that very little use is being made of this Web Page ( blog) Here is an experience which happened in Owl Circle. As you are aware there are 2 Networks on each circle WiFi, the one where the signal comes in and the other is the one hard wired to the circle center. Those of us who lived close to the signal coming directly from the router had no problem accessing the Internet but no one was able to get on the Internet using the center Network. After many frustrating hours of research, it was discovered that the signal from the router to the Access Point was not lite on the router. So we unplugged the connection from the AP to the router and plugged into another port on the router. PROBLEM SOLVED

Meeting

There will be a Wi-Fi meeting january 12 at 6:30 at the Clubhouse. Roger will Chair the meeting and will be updating us on the latest developments at Corkscrew.
Hope to have at least 1 rep from every circle there. Good time to bring up any questions you might have.
